Senior Quality Engineer
What will you do?
As Senior Quality Engineer, you become the go-to person for everything related to quality at NiniX Technologies, following the retirement of our current quality manager. You safeguard the quality management system, make sure it keeps meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and translate these into daily practice. You mainly support Product Development and, where needed, projects in machine building.
- Managing and further developing the quality management system
- Organising and guiding internal, external and customer audits
- Following up on customer and supplier complaints, including CAPAs and root cause analyses
- Translating changes in standards and regulations into concrete actions within the organisation
- Carrying out risk analyses and validations, and managing measuring equipment
- Supporting engineering and production on quality matters
- Preparing the management review and following up on KPIs and improvement actions
- Depending on your experience, supporting the follow-up of medical device files, regulatory affairs and the role of Head of Physical Control / Radiation Protection Officer
What do you bring?
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or quality-oriented field
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management in a technical production or development environment, a significant part of it in an IATF 16949 environment
- Familiarity with quality methods such as 8D, FMEA, CAPA and root cause analysis
- A statistical foundation (SPC, MSA, capability analyses)
- Knowledge of medical device files, regulatory affairs or radiation protection is a plus, but not a requirement: we provide the necessary training
- Energy from improving quality: you prefer building a quality culture to only enforcing procedures
- The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering, production and project management
- Decisiveness, the courage to take a position and the ability to bring colleagues along positively in quality improvements

We work for sectors with extreme environments, including automotive, maritime and agriculture. Our two core activities are precision engineering, from detailed design and construction to testing and delivery of industrial machinery and automation projects, and electronics product development, from design and validation to the production of electronics and enclosures for demanding environments.
