Sensor solutions for demanding applications

NiniX develops and produces customer-specific sensor modules for applications where reliability, accuracy and durability are essential. By combining mechanics, electronics and software in one integrated solution, we develop sensors that are fully tailored to the functional and environmental requirements of your application.

Our sensors are used in challenging environments where they must withstand high temperatures, vibration, moisture and aggressive media. This makes them particularly suitable for applications in the automotive industry and other technically demanding sectors.

Sensors tailored to your application

Every application places unique demands on performance, dimensions, measurement accuracy and service life. That is why NiniX develops sensor modules entirely to the customer's specifications.

Depending on the application, we optimise materials, mechanical design, electronics, software, interconnections and packaging methods to arrive at the best possible solution.

  • Speed sensors
  • Temperature sensors
  • Hall position sensors
  • Pressure sensors
  • Capacitive sensors
  • Inductive sensors
  • Vibration sensors
  • ToF sensors (Time of Flight)
  • IR sensors (infrared)
  • Combined sensor modules
  • Noise cancellation modules

Whether it concerns temperature measurement, position detection, pressure measurement or an entirely new sensor module, NiniX develops sensor solutions that are fully tailored to your product, environment and performance requirements.

Developed for extreme conditions

Sensors often have to keep performing in conditions where standard solutions fall short. That is why we develop sensor modules for high-temperature applications up to 150°C and for aggressive environments such as transmission oil or engine compartments.

One example is our triple PT1000 temperature sensor, which combines an exceptionally fast response time of around one second with high reliability under harsh operating conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What is custom sensor development?

Custom sensor development is the design of a sensor system tailored specifically to a particular application. The measuring principles, accuracy, environmental requirements and integration are matched to the needs of the product or process.

When should you choose a custom sensor instead of a standard sensor?

A custom sensor makes sense when existing sensors do not perform well enough, do not fit within the design or are not suited to the environmental conditions. A custom-developed sensor allows accuracy, reliability and functionality to be optimised.

Which sensors can NiniX develop?

NiniX develops sensors for a wide range of measurement applications, such as position, distance, pressure, force, temperature, level, vibration and presence measurement, based on technologies including capacitive, inductive, ToF and IR. Depending on the application, the most suitable sensor technology is selected and integrated.

How does a sensor development project at NiniX work?

NiniX guides the entire process, from concept and feasibility study to electronics development, prototyping, testing, validation and series production. The result is an integrated sensor solution that fits the customer's application perfectly.

Why choose NiniX for custom sensor development?

Thanks to our expertise in electronics development, mechanical design and production, we deliver robust sensors that keep functioning reliably under the most challenging conditions.
