Product Development Engineer
What will you do?
As Product Development Engineer, you design mechanical enclosures for electronics that must withstand extreme conditions such as high pressure, humidity, temperature, dust and chemical exposure. You are involved from concept to production and make sure every design meets strict functional requirements.
- Developing and optimising functional enclosures and mechanical components in Autodesk Inventor
- Working closely with our electronics engineers to integrate mechanical and electronic components seamlessly
- Supporting the transition from design to production in our in-house manufacturing facility
- Supporting semi-automated production processes
What do you bring?
- Several years of experience in mechanical product design
- A good understanding of how electronics function in industrial applications
- Enthusiasm for the challenges of designing for extreme environments
- A focus on functionality over aesthetics: thoughtful, technically sound designs
- Attention to technical detail: you know that millimetres make the difference and you take production constraints into account
- A sense of responsibility: you take ownership of your projects and deliver high-quality work
- The ability to work autonomously, knowing that engineering is a team effort

NiniX Technologies is a hands-on technology company in Bruges and part of ACE Belgium and the Brandfort group. We work for sectors with extreme environments, including automotive, maritime and agriculture. Our two core activities are precision engineering, from detailed design and construction to testing and delivery of industrial machinery and automation projects, and electronics product development, from design and validation to the production of electronics and enclosures for demanding environments.
