Detects minimal deviations and hidden defects during final inspection, before the vehicle leaves the factory.
NiniX Technologies developed and produces a wireless vibration sensor for agricultural vehicles. During the final inspection, the sensor detects minimal deviations and hidden defects, so potential mechanical or electronic faults are found at an early stage, before the vehicle leaves the factory.
A finished agricultural vehicle can look and run perfectly while still containing a hidden defect, such as a component that is not mounted correctly or a part that is starting to wear abnormally. Such defects often only become visible after delivery, when the vehicle is already in use on the field. Small deviations in the vibration pattern can reveal them much earlier.
The sensor measures the vibration of the vehicle and detects minimal deviations that point to mechanical or electronic faults.
The measurement data is transmitted wirelessly, so the sensor can be used on the vehicle without cabling.
The sensor was developed as a predictive maintenance sensor. At the vehicle manufacturer, it is used during final inspection. NiniX handles both the development and the series production of the sensor.
Potential faults are detected while the vehicle is still at the factory, where they can be corrected under controlled conditions. This reduces the risk of failures in the field and the cost and downtime that come with them.
