Founded in 2001, NiniX Technologies is a hands-on company with about 30 employees, mostly engineers.
In 2001, NiniX Technologies was established as a spin-off of BC Components, relying on a strong heritage of more than 20 years of “components” product development and automation knowhow of Philips.
In 2002, we moved to a new location at the industrial estate ‘Blauwe toren’ in Bruges. The production capacity of electronic components was vastly expanded.
In 2003, engineering and process automation became an important new activity of the company.
In 2007, automotive ISO/TS 16949 certification was received for development, engineering and manufacturing of electronic components & systems.
In 2008, medical ISO 13485 certification was received for development, manufacturing of our first biomechanical medical device, the BioniX Sim3 Pro.
In 2012, the factory floorspace was doubled with a new building.
